We recorded this with an audience of friends, to give us as near to a "live" feel as possible and then overdubbed Phil Bates & Ron de la Vega on double bass, Michael Snow on accordion and Dennis Bryon on percussion. Our seven original songs are interspersed with favourites from our stage performances.

Reviews For "I Will"

"Put that sublime guitar work together with Nashville based singer Cathryn Craig who possesses one of the finest country voices around and you are on to a winner. Correct! A winner this most definitely is!"
Folking.com

"This recording is a beautifully understated album. Cathryn's rich voice with its Country overtones and Brian's guitar playing (echoes of the legendary Django Rienhardt on "The Snake") fit together seamlessly in what is deceptively simple album." Star Rating ****.5
Fairoaks Entertainment Catalogue

"Willoughby's impeccable acoustic guitar technique provides a clean, light touch with plenty of tasty melodic leads. Craig's "down home country" vocals and guitar compliment Willoughby's guitar like hand in glove.. If you're in the mood for a quiet evening of well-played, heartfelt singer/songwriter country-folk, look no further."
Turk's Head Magazine (The All Music Guide)

"Cathryn's voice never fails to demand your attention, drawing you into the songs in a way few of her contemporaries can emulate, whilst Brian's guitar work is, as ever sublime ...a very professional production all round and another immaculate performance."
Folk North West

"… this is a slice of Nashville-flavoured, Americana-style singer/songwriter material. Craig's lovely voice has a touch of the South and is well suited to the duo's songs of love and loss. Willoughby's acoustic guitar skillfully sketches out the simple arrangements, with occasional backing by bass and percussion."
